Lingoroam was born out of a love for languages and a passion for travel. Our founders — a linguist and a nomadic travel writer — realized how difficult it can be to practice a new language while on the move. Language apps help, but nothing replaces real conversations with real people in real settings. That’s why we created a system of mobile clubs: to bring together travelers and locals in pop-up environments designed for organic, immersive learning.
Based in Egypt, Lingoroam operates across major tourist areas such as Cairo, Dahab, Luxor, Aswan, Alexandria, and Hurghada. We partner with cafes, co-working spaces, hostels, and even desert camps to host events that are spontaneous, welcoming, and practical. Our meetups are led by native speakers and bilingual hosts who guide small group conversations on travel, culture, food, and daily life.
We don’t just teach you words — we teach you how to live the language. Whether you're looking to sharpen your Arabic while backpacking or want to maintain your English while living abroad, our clubs are flexible, friendly, and fueled by human connection. At Lingoroam, we believe language is not just a skill — it’s the gateway to authentic travel.
